The differences between Sapphire FUE and classic extraction methods
It should be noted that FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction. Here, the hairs are removed individually from the donor area by the use of a hollow needle. It has a diameter of 0.6 to 0.9 mm and is driven by a fine micro motor.
In contrast to the previous methods, the sapphire FUE hair transplant is characterized by the use of sapphire blades. These have sizes of 0.8 to 1.5 mm. The specific size of the sapphire needle is adjusted according to the structure of the hair of each patient.
So far with classic hair transplant procedures, only U-shaped hair transplantation channels could be opened on the scalp. The revolutionary sapphire blade allows the opening of V-shaped canals. As a result those are smaller and leaves less tissue damage on the skin.
